Since announcing the Collingwood rebrand last month, we’re now excited to share some of the latest developments.
Recently, we reviewed two brand concepts, created by Newcastle based designers JUMP. We then began work to determine which version we felt was the best fit for Collingwood. With current and future customers in mind, we are now in the process of refining and tweaking the concepts to pull it together into one cohesive brand!
What do we hope to achieve with the Collingwood rebrand?
With our rebrand, we’re aiming to revitalise the look and feel of our brand, bringing new styles and graphics that are more relevant to our customers, both now and in the future.
We felt that our current logo and branding no longer reflects the business we have grown into. Throughout project we are also establishing and refining a shiny new set of brand guidelines. We also feel that our current branding has become a little disparate depending on the communication. You can see in the graphic below how our brand can look different depending where you see it.
With our new brand we will continue to offer the same products, services, and excellent customer service our customers know and love, just with a refreshed look and feel. We also want to keep you, our customers, involved throughout the exciting rebrand process and bring you on the journey with us.
What will the new brand look like?
As we are now well underway with rebranding, we are excited to share some snippets of what is to come. We are still in the initial stages, so there could be some changes to come, but we are excited about how it is all coming together!
Whilst our new branding will give a completely fresh look, rest assured we’re keeping the Collingwood name. Collingwood has been our trading name since we were founded in 2006, and we’re proud to continue the business heritage. By retaining our name, we’re also ensuring our existing, and new customers will recognise us. We feel that our new brand will be more reflective of our diverse customer range and be a better fit for all.
Below you can see a sneak preview of how our new branding is coming together and the direction we are taking.
What is the next step in our rebrand process?
The next stages in the process include testing the new assets, signing off the brand guidelines, and finally, implementation. We’ll be running focus groups and tests to make sure all of our new branding is fit for purpose and an improvement to the customer experience.
Once our shiny new brand is signed off, the rollout will begin. As a customer, you will start to see our new logo pop up on our website, social media channels and email communications. As we work through the rollout process, you may notice our current…and soon to be old logo, still appearing here and there as we dot all the I’s and cross the T’s!
